Yesterday I had my first rehearsal for a very exciting show. March 12 (I don’t know the exact time yet) at the YogaMCC Studio, I will be participating in Shades of the Living Light, a concert inspired by the music and visions of Hildegard von Bingen as part of Prashant Michael John’s Sacred World Music Concerts series.

For those of you who know me as a singer of medieval music, this is right in my bardic wheelhouse. For those of you who have attended enough of my concerts to know the musicians I like to work with, this group consists of singer-keyboardist-violinist Sora, cellist Dorothy Bishop, world percussionist Trudy Hipwell, and Prashant Michael John, the accomplished and respected world musician. I can’t offer more details at this time, but mark your calendars, because you don’t want to miss this one.
