Coming Along Swimmingly

January 20, 2014

Dear friends, fans, and angelic patrons of my Kickstarter campaign,

Great day in studio today working on Squalling Stardust, a sexy little track in a genre that I have decided can only be called “New Age grunge”. I made a demo of it last spring, which you can hear if you click on the “Listen & Buy” tab.

This was the fifth studio session recording Patience, the album that you so graciously and magnanimously funded with your hard-earned gold-pressed latinum. At this time, I have 5 tracks mostly recorded: To Forget I Am Ashamed, Squalling Stardust, and Go From Hence, of which you can hear earlier versions on my Listen & Buy page under “Spring 2013 Demo”, as well as The Sushi Bar at the End of the Universe and Man Overboard. Anthony Blaine of AB Records and I are getting along swimmingly, and I am excited to get on with two more recording sessions before this month is over.

Questions? Comments? Ideas? I would love to hear from you at vanessacarduiartist@gmail.com.

Thank you for your support, now and always.

In love and song,
Vanessa Cardui
